I’m writing to point out a glaring inaccuracy in the May 2019 Travel More! list of “The Best Hikes in Every State.” Their Rhode Island selection was the Newport Cliff Walk, and clearly this should have been the nearby Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge.
The Cliff Walk is an OK hike, if you like following a mostly-paved trail frequented by idiot tourists, joggers, and bikers while passing McMansions that make the abodes of most One Percenters look like they’re in a homeless tarp camp.
The Sachuest Point trail is so far superior to this utter crap-march of a “hike” that is the Cliff Walk.
